A-1 Driveway Replacement Company was founded by Dave Scott, a life-long resident of Dekalb County, GA and 35-year resident of the community of Tucker, GA. He began his career in 1974 working primarily for builders and general contractors, preparing footings, foundations, slabs, retaining walls and installing new driveways, In the early 1990's he identified an under-served niche in the concrete industry: homeowners in need of driveway repair/replacement and other concrete-related work. In 1997 to serve this market, he founded A-1 Driveway Replacement Company in Tucker, GA. Since its founding, A-1 Driveway has installed over 2500 driveways in the Greater Atlanta area.
